A native of Fairlea, West Virginia, Kacey Hunter is a certified physician assistant specializing in primary care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Radford University and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Shenandoah University. Before joining WVSOM Health in 2026, Kacey practiced family medicine for 10 years and urgent care for seven years. In her current role, she focuses on providing acute care services to WVSOM students. Outside of work, Kacey enjoys singing, photography and gardening.
